Packaging Sourcing & Development Manager Cosmetics & Skincare (Premium Brand)

As a Packaging Sourcing & Development Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in the cosmetic and skincare packaging development process, ensuring top-notch quality and brand aesthetics. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading end-to-end packaging development for skincare, haircare, and beauty categories by translating design briefs into technical packaging drawings. You will develop and validate luxury finishes like frosted glass, metallization, and embossing. - Identifying and onboarding specialized cosmetic packaging vendors across India, China, Thailand, and Italy. You will also manage vendor relationships for long-term partnerships and cost efficiency. - Negotiating pricing, MOQs, and lead times to optimize cost of goods sold while maintaining luxury quality. You will handle new mold developments and tooling trials. - Ensuring compatibility between formulation and packaging materials, overseeing stability and transit testing, and validating vendor compliance with quality standards. - Driving the adoption of eco-friendly materials and evaluating sustainability aspects of existing packaging lines. You will stay updated on clean beauty and sustainable packaging trends. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery of new launches and partnering with creative agencies and printers for quality control.
