Job Description

Role & Responsibility

Packaging Development
:

Design and develop new packaging concepts for skincare, makeup, fragrances, etc.
Collaborate with product development, marketing, and design teams to align on packaging goals.
Innovate sustainable and user-friendly packaging solutions.

Vendor Management
:

Source and liaise with packaging suppliers (bottles, jars, tubes, boxes, labels).
Negotiate pricing, MOQs, timelines, and quality standards.
Evaluate supplier performance and conduct audits if required.

Technical Evaluation
:

Test packaging compatibility with product formulas (e.g., leakage, stability).
Ensure packaging meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards (FDA, EU, etc.).
Oversee tooling, prototyping, and sample development.

Project Management
:

Manage timelines from concept to launch.
Coordinate with supply chain, QA, and manufacturing teams.
Track and report packaging development costs and lead times.

Sustainability & Innovation
:

Integrate sustainable practices (e.g., recyclable, refillable packaging).
Research industry trends and competitors for innovation insights.
