Packaging Executive

Qualification & Experience:

• Required Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Packaging Technology, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
• Required prior Work Experience: 4 - 8 years in packaging within the FMCG industry, with strong exposure to packaging design, material selection, and manufacturing processes

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in packaging design, materials, and production processes within the FMCG sector
• In-depth knowledge of packaging regulations, food safety standards, and sustainability practices
• Proficient in project management and cross-functional collaboration
• Skilled in cost optimization and supplier management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with packaging artwork development and quality assurance
• Familiarity with sustainable packaging trends and implementation

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead packaging design and artwork coordination with R&D, and external partners to ensure brand compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Select, evaluate, and approve packaging materials aligned with performance, cost, and sustainability goals.
• Integrate packaging solutions into production, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and minimal downtime.
• Drive packaging quality assurance, conduct audits, and resolve defects to meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Identify and implement packaging cost optimization initiatives while maintaining quality.
• Develop and execute sustainable packaging strategies to reduce environmental impact.
• Manage packaging projects from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and cross-functional alignment.
• Oversee supplier relationships, ensuring quality compliance, timely delivery, and issue resolution.
• Maintain packaging documentation and report on key performance metrics to senior management.
• NPD trials and feedback related to packaging along with good understanding of process in rigid & flexi packaging.
• Guide and nurture the team member along with regular training to the team.
