Packaging Development Executive

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities: 1. New Requirement Analysis: Work closely with internal teams to understand and define new packaging requirements. Assess the feasibility of packaging solutions based on product specifications and market needs. 2. Design and Development: Lead the design and development process for packaging solutions, including selecting materials and creating prototypes. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure packaging meets product protection, aesthetic, and functional criteria. 3. Supplier Coordination: Engage with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and manage procurement processes. Oversee the development of packaging parts, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards. 4. Vendor Compliance: Evaluate and audit vendors to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to address any issues and drive continuous improvement. 5. Project Management: Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure packaging solutions are developed and implemented on schedule. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues and ensure smooth execution of packaging projects. 6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of packaging development processes, supplier communications, and compliance audits. Prepare regular reports on project status, vendor performance, and cost analysis for management review. Desired Candidate Profile 5-8 years of experience in Packaging Development or related field (Pharmaceutical industry preferred). Bachelor's degree in B.Tech/B.E. from a reputed college. Candidates from Indian Institute of Packaging shall be preferred. Strong understanding of packaging design, material selection, operations, and regulation
