Role Overview

This role leads the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) processes across the end-to-end Order-to-Cash cycle. You will own complex intercompany and intracompany scenarios, including Stock Transport Orders and intercompany billing, along with pricing, credit management, shipping, and returns. The consultant collaborates closely with FI/CO, MM, PP, and logistics teams to ensure seamless integration and accurate financial postings. The position includes team leadership, full lifecycle implementation experience, and strong analytical problem-solving in a client-facing environment.

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years hands-on SAP SD configuration and delivery
• Expertise in Intercompany Sales and Intercompany/Intracompany STO
• Pricing procedure design (condition technique, account keys, requirements)
• Credit Management (classic and/or FSCM concepts)
• Shipping, transportation, shipment and shipment cost calculation
• Availability Check (ATP) and route determination
• Copy controls between sales, delivery, and billing
• Sales returns and credit/debit memo processes
• Third-party order processing
• MTO and MTS processes with PP integration awareness
• Integration with FI/CO (account determination, intercompany billing), MM (procurement, STO), and PP
• Team lead experience on SAP SD projects
• Full lifecycle SAP implementation experience (blueprint-to-go-live)
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes
• Proven problem-solving, analytical, and client-facing consulting skills

Responsibilities

• Lead design and configuration of SAP SD across the Order-to-Cash cycle, including pricing, credit, shipping, billing, and returns
• Own intercompany and intracompany processes: STO, intercompany sales, intercompany billing, and financial postings
• Define and implement pricing procedures, condition records, output determination, and copy controls
• Set up shipment processing and shipment cost calculation; coordinate with logistics and FI for accurate settlement
• Configure and optimize ATP/availability check, route determination, and third-party processing
• Integrate SD with FI/CO, MM, and PP; validate account determination and cross-module data flows
• Drive end-to-end project delivery: workshops, fit-gap, build, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, go-live, and hypercare
• Lead and mentor team members; provide documentation, training, and stakeholder communication
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement enhancements aligned to business needs
