Packaging Assistant

As a Packing Staff at our company, your role involves hygienic and efficient packing of sweets, savories, bakery items, cakes, rusks, and other food products for both retail and e-commerce orders. You will be responsible for packing items neatly and ensuring they meet company standards. Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the quality, weight, and appearance of the packed products. Additionally, you will support the dispatch team for online orders and ensure the packing area remains clean and hygienic. Key Responsibilities: - Pack sweets, savories, bakery items, cake rusk, and other products neatly and hygienically. - Label packed products correctly with product name, weight, MRP, date, etc. - Ensure quality, weight, and appearance of packed items meet company standards. - Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the packing area. - Support dispatch team for online/e-commerce packing and courier readiness. - Handle delicate items like cakes with care during packing. - Follow first-in-first-out (FIFO) and best before practices. - Assist in arranging items for retail display after packing. - Report any damage, spoilage, or shortage to the supervisor. - Assist in stock checking and inventory support if required. Qualifications Required: - Basic reading and labeling skills (Tamil/English). - Knowledge of hygiene and food safety (training provided if fresher). - Physically fit and energetic. - Team player with a positive attitude. - Fast and efficient working style. In addition to the job responsibilities, you will be working shift-based hours in the morning or evening. Please note that Sundays and festival days may be working days based on production load.
