Role & responsibilities

Job Description: OSI PI Consultant/Engineer ( 4- 12 Years of Development & Implementation Mandatory ) - Immediate - 45 Days Joiners

Key Responsibilities

• Upgrade and migrate OSI PI Suite to the latest version.
• Install and configure PI OPC Interfaces with failover and PI Buffer Subsystem.
• Administer PI Vision Servers, PI Web API, PI Datalink, and PI ProcessBook.
• Develop and support PI Vision pages and dashboards.
• Provide consulting for system health checks and refinery model maintenance.
• Integrate OSI PI with databases and third-party systems.
• Manage full implementation lifecycle of OSI PI systems across development, test, and production environments.
• Monitor dependencies between applications and ensure smooth implementation.
• Plan and manage post-go-live support activities.
• Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for support processes.

Technical Skills

• Experience with PI SDK, PI AF SDK, Visual Studio, .NET, and Angular.
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server and/or Oracle databases.
• Configure and maintain OPC Servers, PI Web API, PI OLEDB Enterprise, and PI DAS.
• Proficient in writing advanced SQL queries and optimizing database performance.
• Understanding of relational database design and web application development.
• Experience with web services and building new application features.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for developing innovative solutions and improving system functionality.

Preferred candidate profile

• OSIsoft Accredited OSI PI Certified
• Having 4 to 12 Years of Industry Experience in Implementation and Maintenance and support OSI PI Suite Oil Gas domain preferred
• Having knowledge on C Net XFD SSL SQL OSI PI DA AF PI Vision PI Integrator PI Interface
• Fast learner with a desire motivation to learn cutting edge new technologies
• Strong communication interpersonal administrative and leadership skills are essential
• Proven success in contributing to a team oriented multicultural environment
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically
• Knowledge of Agile Framework
• Create and maintain effective application technical configuration documents and standard operating procedure documents
• Competent user of Microsoft office products including use of Word and Excel
• Knowledge of System Integration Testing and Unit Testin
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Able to set priorities proactive and selfdirected and manage workloads in order to meet deadlines
