Job Description

The role of Billing Administrator at Smiths Detection involves providing support for billing admin tasks related to aftermarket sales, programs, and run rates to ensure accurate and timely billing of all contracts. Your responsibilities will include issuing invoices in SAP, validating contract billing by cross-checking available documentation, creating and maintaining billing plans in Excel as requested by clients, updating billing plans in SAP, and resolving billing issues. You will also be responsible for client liaison on billing matters, which includes answering basic billing-related queries, following up on purchase order renewals on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis, and requesting new portal access if necessary. In addition, you will be tasked with managing documentation by filing contract documentation in relevant OTI COE folders and/or SAP, as well as keeping the OTI COE tracker up to date. The qualifications required for this role include experience with SAP contract billing (VA42, VA43, VF03, IW75, etc.), familiarity with Service Max Salesforce (desirable), customer service skills, attention to detail, experience working with Excel to manipulate and read billing trackers, ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, problem-solving skills based on available information.
