Job Description

You are an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 7 to 11 years of experience, skilled in PostgreSQL and Oracle Golden Gate. In this hybrid role, you will manage and optimize database infrastructure for high availability and performance. Your responsibilities include overseeing installation, configuration, and maintenance of databases, ensuring security, reliability, and optimal performance, monitoring performance, developing backup and recovery strategies, collaborating with development teams, providing technical support, creating documentation, managing replication and data integration, conducting audits, planning upgrades and migrations, automating tasks, staying updated with technologies, and participating in on-call rotation. You should possess expertise in PostgreSQL and Oracle Golden Gate, understanding of security and performance tuning, experience in backup and recovery strategies, proficiency in replication and data integration, troubleshooting skills, communication and collaboration abilities, independence and teamwork capabilities, commitment to learning and development, successful track record in managing upgrades and migrations, familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages, knowledge of industry standards and compliance, clear documentation skills, and a proactive approach to issue resolution. The certifications required for this role are Certified PostgreSQL DBA and Oracle GoldenGate Specialist Certification.,
