Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Functional Responsibilities (Core HR & Compensation)

  • Lead requirement workshops for

    Core HR

    (legal entity, business unit, departments, jobs, positions, assignments) and

    Compensation

    (eligibility, budgeting, award components).
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis and map business needs to Oracle Cloud functionality.
  • Configure enterprise structures, worker/assignment data, security roles, compensation plans, and budget frameworks.
  • Support global implementations across India/EMEA/APAC, ensuring compliance with business rules.

2. Technical Responsibilities (HDL, Extracts, Integrations)

  • Build and maintain

    HCM Data Loader (HDL)

    templates, including historical and effective-dated data loads with EffectiveSequenceNumber handling.
  • Create and manage

    HCM Extracts

    (full, incremental, changes-only) with appropriate threading database items.
  • Develop and enhance

    BI Publisher (BIP) reports

    and OTBI analytics for HR & Compensation metrics.
  • Work closely with technical teams to support integrations using

    OIC

    ,

    REST/SOAP APIs

    , HDL interfaces, and extract-based outbound flows.
  • Ensure accurate data flow between HCM and external systems.

3. Data Migration & Validation

  • Lead data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and validation during migration.
  • Manage flexfields (DFFs, EFFs, KFFs) and effective-dated records in migration cycles.
  • Perform test loads, reconcile results, and fix data quality issues.

4. Testing, Training & Go-Live

  • Support unit testing, SIT, and UAT cycles.
  • Create test scripts, validate outputs, and work with end users on training.
  • Contribute to go-live cutover planning and post-go-live stabilization.

5. Business Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor daily business transactions within Core HR and Compensation.
  • Suggest improvements, optimize processes, and align with quarterly Oracle Cloud releases.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and global teams to resolve issues and deploy enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory

  • Bachelors degree in IT, HR, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud HCM

    .
  • Strong functional expertise in

    Core HR & Compensation

    modules.
  • Proven technical experience in:
    • HDL (HCM Data Loader)

    • HCM Extracts

    • BI Publisher (BIP)

    • OTBI

    • REST/SOAP Web Services & OIC

  • Solid understanding of effective-dated objects, Person vs Worker data model, Enterprise Structure components.
  • Experience in data migration across phases (design, test, load, validation).

Preferred

  • Experience in global/multi-country implementations.
  • Familiarity with Extract scheduling and Flow Scheduling formulas.
  • Understanding of HR processes, security roles, approvals, and audit requirements.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.
