Job Description

Required 15+ Years Finance Architect experience with deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials, particularly Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM).

The role requires strong experience in end-to-end implementation, re-design, and optimization of Oracle Fusion Finance solutions. The candidate will act as a functional architect, driving solution design, business alignment, and successful delivery while working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and program leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

  • Lead end-to-end Oracle Fusion Finance implementation and re-design

  • Define finance solution architecture aligned with business and compliance needs

  • Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend best-practice Oracle Fusion solutions

  • Design end-to-end financial process flows across:

  • Accounts Payable (AP)

  • General Ledger (GL)

  • Fixed Assets (FA)

  • Cash Management (CM)

  • Ensure seamless integration with SCM, Procurement, and other upstream systems

Implementation & Delivery

  • Drive configuration and setup of Fusion Finance modules

  • Review and approve functional design documents (BRD, FDD, Solution Design)

  • Support data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities

  • Lead and support SIT, UAT, and production cutover

  • Ensure solution quality, scalability, and compliance

Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Act as primary functional SPOC for finance stakeholders

  • Conduct workshops with finance leadership and business users

  • Translate business requirements into scalable Fusion solutions

  • Provide guidance to functional consultants and offshore teams

  • Handle escalations, risks, and change requests effectively

Governance & Best Practices

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and audit requirements

  • Drive standardization and process optimization

  • Ensure alignment with Oracle best practices and future roadmap

  • Support audits, controls, and financial governance initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

  • 15+ years of experience in Oracle Financials / Oracle Fusion

  • Strong hands-on experience in:

  • Accounts Payable (AP)

  • General Ledger (GL)

  • Fixed Assets (FA)

  • Cash Management (CM)

  • Proven experience in:

  • Oracle Fusion implementation and re-design projects

  • Finance transformation programs

  • Large enterprise or multi-entity environments

  • Strong understanding of:

  • Accounting principles

  • Period close, reconciliation, and reporting

  • Financial integrations and data flows

  • Experience working in onsite client-facing roles
