Oracle FDI Architect Enterprise Analytics (Finance, SCM, HCM, CX)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) Architect to define and lead the enterprise analytics architecture across all Oracle Fusion Cloud pillars — Finance, SCM, HCM, and CX. This role includes responsibility for enterprise-wide data modeling, FDI augmentation, semantic layer design, data governance, integration architecture, and optimization of analytics pipelines using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture & Strategy

• Define end-to-end architecture for FDI, including ADW schema, semantic models, data flows, and OAC reporting.
• Establish enterprise standards for KPIs, metrics, semantic layers, and cross-pillar analytics.
• Architect scalable data models that support Finance, SCM, HCM, and CX analytics.

Data Augmentation & Custom Data Modeling

• Design and manage Data Augmentation within Oracle FDI to extend prebuilt subject areas.
• Integrate custom objects, user-defined fields, external datasets, and legacy system data into FDI.
• Ensure augmentation conforms to enterprise governance, lineage, and semantic modeling standards.

ODI Data Mapping & ETL Architecture

• Architect ODI-based data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and synchronization with ADW.
• Develop complex ODI data mappings, reusable components, and orchestration flows.
• Define standards for ODI load performance, error handling, metadata management, and auditability.
• Ensure ODI mappings support hybrid architectures involving both Fusion Cloud and on-premise systems.

Cross-Pillar Integration & Insights

• Design unified reporting layers combining Finance, SCM, HCM, CX, CRM, IoT, MES, and PLM systems.
• Implement cross-domain analytics like order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, plan-to-produce, and recruit-to-retire.
• Establish canonical data models linking operational, workforce, financial, and customer insights.

Performance, Security & Governance

• Optimize ADW storage, partitioning, indexing, and query performance for large-scale analytics.
• Define enterprise-wide data governance, metadata standards, lineage, and certification processes.
• Implement RLS, CLS, object-level security, and compliance (SOX, GDPR, ISO).

Leadership & Delivery

• Provide architectural guidance to FDI developers, data engineers, OAC developers, and ODI specialists.
• Review and approve technical designs, augmentation logic, mappings, and semantic layers.
• Translate business strategy into analytics program roadmaps and architectural initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years in enterprise analytics with 5+ years focused on Oracle FDI/FAW.
• Deep functional and technical understanding of Finance, SCM, HCM, and CX data models.
• Expertise in Data Augmentation and subject area extension within FDI.
• Strong ODI experience including data mappings, load plans, and custom transformations.
• Expert-level SQL/PLSQL and ADW performance tuning skills.
• Strong OAC modeling experience (DV, RPD, semantic modeling, KPI frameworks).
• Experience integrating Fusion Cloud with external systems using REST APIs, Data Gateway, and ODI.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle certifications in OAC, ADW, ODI, or FDI.
• Experience leading enterprise BI modernization or digital transformation programs.
• Knowledge of OCI Data Integration, API frameworks, and automation using Python or OCI SDK.
• Exposure to hybrid analytics ecosystems (Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake).
