Oracle ERP Project Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end Oracle ERP projects (Finance, SCM, HCM, Technical), including implementations, enhancements, migrations, and rollouts for global clients.
• Drive project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, timelines, risk management, and scope control throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Liaise continuously with clients, business stakeholders, and functional & technical teams to ensure project alignment with business objectives and requirements.
• Oversee the gathering of requirements, solution design, quality documentation, configuration, technical development, integration, and system testing.
• Ensure rigorous adherence to project management best practices, Oracle methodology, and internal quality standards.
• Facilitate effective collaboration and communication between functional consultants, technical developers, business analysts, and end users.
• Monitor project progress, proactively identify and mitigate risks, resolve escalations, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.
• Foster a culture of accountability, process improvement, knowledge sharing, and team development across onsite and offshore resources.
• Oversee project deliverables such as technical and functional documentation, test cases, system configurations, and user training plans.
• Support stakeholder management, change control, and ensure robust handover and post-go-live support.
• Lead status meetings, executive updates, customer presentations, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout project engagements.

Preferred candidate profile

• 12+ years total experience with at least 8 years leading Oracle ERP projects (including Oracle EBS/Cloud modules: Finance, SCM, HCM, and technical integration/customization).
• Proven track record managing large, complex, multi-module Oracle ERP projects from initiation through go-live and support.
• Strong understanding of Oracle ERP architecture, integration points, and module interdependencies.
• Expertise in managing cross-functional teams, including both technical and functional Oracle consultants, across onsite and offshore locations.
• Experience with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile/Hybrid)PMI certification a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority projects, balance resources, handle escalations, and deliver quality results under pressure.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to oversee high-quality project documentation and drive process excellence and continuous improvement.
• Oracle ERP certifications and broad exposure to all functional and technical workstreams highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
