Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Engage with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements, analyze gaps, and propose technical solutions (customizations, extensions, or configurations).
Design, develop, test, deploy, and support customizations: Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Extensions (FRE), Workflows, Concurrent Programs, BI Publisher, XML Publisher, AQ, APIs, custom PL/SQL packages, etc.
Implement and manage data conversion / migration from legacy systems to Oracle EBS (using Open Interfaces, SQL*Loader, custom scripts, etc.).
Build and maintain integrations between EBS and external systems (via web services, file interfaces, APIs, middleware).
Customize and extend Oracle Application Framework (OAF) pages / personalization / extensions as needed.
Develop and maintain technical documentation: design specs, test cases, deployment guides, data mapping documents, user documentation.
Troubleshoot and provide post-go-live support, root cause analysis, bug fixes, performance tuning of custom code.
Participate in patching, upgrade, and release cycles of Oracle EBS (including online patching, version upgrades).
Ensure adherence to Oracles best practices and architecture guidelines, especially CEMLI (Configuration, Extension, Modification, Localization, Integration) framework.
Mentor junior technical staff, review code, ensure code quality, and enforce standards.
Assist in estimations, effort planning, technical feasibility assessments, and project execution.
Participate in test phases (unit testing, integration testing, UAT) and support deployment.
Coordinate with DBA, infrastructure, functional, and support teams for smooth operations.
