Oracle DBA

As an Oracle DBA with 4 to 9 years of experience, your primary responsibilities will include the installation and configuration of Oracle 10g and 11g versions. You should possess strong procedural skills to aid in the design, debugging, implementation, and maintenance of stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined functions within the DBMS. Your role will also involve utilizing your System Analysis and Design skills, data modeling expertise, and database design knowledge to contribute to the overall performance management and tuning of the database system. Additionally, you will be expected to conduct SQL code reviews and walk-throughs, as well as engage in capacity planning, metadata management, and repository usage. It is essential that you have experience in data security practices, storage management techniques, and an understanding of related technologies such as Java (JDeveloper, J2EE, Apache) and Oracle Application Server. Strong communication skills are necessary in this role. While not mandatory, possessing Oracle DBA certifications would be beneficial.
