Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Oracle DBA with 7 to 12 years of experience to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Roles and Responsibility

Participate in functional test planning and testing for assigned applications.

Troubleshoot issues related to database performance, capacity, replication, and distributed data.

Install and maintain database software, manage backup and recovery using RMAN and/or Network Appliance Snapshots, and ensure database security.

Develop database procedures, triggers, and SQL scripts for development teams.

Assist in defining and implementing database standards and review scripts submitted by the Development team.

Monitor databases for errors and perform problem determination when necessary.

Design and implement highly available production systems using technologies such as Hot Standby/Data Guard, Oracle Goldengate, Advanced Queuing, Real Application Cluster (RAC), and Oracle Enterprise Manager.

Participate in on-call rotations.

Job

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience developing Ansible playbooks and working with high-volume websites that use multi-tier architectures.

Hands-on experience in Oracle database technologies, including writing PL/SQL triggers and procedures.

Experience with Database SQL and tuning, as well as Oracle GoldenGate.

Experience supporting Database infrastructure in the cloud (OCI, AWS, Azure).

Ability to work with minimal direction and collaboratively within a team environment.

Working knowledge of LINUX and shell scripting.

Experience configuring database network connectivity.

Understanding of database backup and recovery techniques using RMAN and Network Appliance filers.

Understanding or experience using Oracle Real Application Clusters and implementation best practices.

Ability to analyze existing systems and recommend technology for high availability, Disaster Recovery, or high performance.

Experience setting up and managing OEM 13c.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
