Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Precise refraction and accurate diagnosis
Clear and precise case sheet documentation
Patient Satisfaction by good and transparent communication and services
To diagnose all patients on vision, eye diseases, vision disorder
To do all diagnostic on equipment's in the hospitals under proper clinical protocol
To record proper case details legibly and as per the clinical protocol
To participate in outreach programs and academic events
To volunteer in clinical/surgical emergencies
To maintain the equipment's and accessories under possession with utmost care and self responsibility
To assist all specialty clinics in rotation
To start up and shut down the equipment required for specialty clinics and assist the doctor
To coordinate with doctors in patient care and procedures
To volunteer in internal scientific sessions, training programs and as faculty for optometry institute
To counsel the patients or relieve the counsellor in case where required
To coordinate with the counsellor regarding IOL lenses for surgery patients and to give the requisition to Centre Head as per requirement.
Daily OP Report
Optical prescription Report
Contact lens advises, booking and dispensing report
Checks the cleanliness in the optometry rooms
Checks the optometry equipment's and in case of any problem immediately informs the Centre Head
