🕒 Department: OPD | Reporting to: Chief Optometrist
🔍 Purpose of the Job:
Assist consultants in delivering quality eye care by performing accurate initial assessments of patients' vision.
📋 Routine Responsibilities:
👁️ Identify & guide patients through procedures
👓 Perform Refraction & verify spectacle power using a lensometer
🩺 Refer patients to consultants for detailed eye exams
🗣️ Counsel patients on vision-related issues
🧴 Assist with contact lens training & guidance
💡 Explain modern procedures & treatment benefits
🧠 Be alert to symptoms of general health issues (diabetes, hypertension, etc.)
🏥 Oversee and maintain the OPD Department
🌟 Special Responsibilities:
✔️ Conduct accurate eye exams
✔️ Educate patients about vision issues & advanced treatments
