Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of scalable and high-performance backend solutions using Java technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
Perform code reviews, mentor team members, and ensure adherence to best practices in coding and design.
Drive development efforts with a focus on performance, security, and maintainability.
Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design.
Support the deployment process and manage CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure code quality through test automation practices (TDD/BDD).

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
Strong proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, and microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design Patterns and software engineering best practices.
Experience working with RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra).
Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Proficiency in modern SCM, CI/CD, build, and deployment tools.
Knowledge of code scanning, static analysis, and automated testing tools.
Experience with development methodologies such as TDD and BDD.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
Familiarity with modern frontend integration or full-stack development is a bonus.
