Job Description

Job Title: Design Engineer- Driveline

CAD Tool: PTC Creo

Experience: 5 yrs.

Job responsibility:

Design and CAD (2D/3D) of below aggregates:

1) Gear box

2) Propeller shaft

3) Axles

4) UJ/CV Joint

Proficient in design calculations of Gears, axle, Propeller shaft layout.
Should have knowledge of CAE load cases and able to understand CAE results.
Expert in Creo CAD tool (3D/2D).
Should be experience in basic and detailed engineering,
Good understanding of forging and Casting process.
Good knowledge of material and technical specification of above aggregates.
Good knowledge of drawing detailing and GD&T
Knowledge of DFMEA/DFA/DFM/DFS
Basic understanding of PLM/PDM software
Familiar with the release process for above aggregates
Familiar with Engineering bill of material (EBOM)
Should be conversant with automobile company standards
Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
Must have ability to work effectively within a team environment and be able to perform job responsibilities with little supervision.
Strong communication skills (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Proficient with existing office suite applications (Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace)
Collaborating with cross-functional teams
