Bring in higher standards. Ensure strict adherence to safe operating procedures. Refine and fine-tune the current systems. Handle daily operations. Head towards a preventive maintenance culture. Safe operation of DA plant, O2 plant, specialty gases plant, Oxygen cylinder filling plant, Cylinder hydro test shop, cryogenic pressure vessels maintenance workshop (VIST, VITT tanks), erection & commissioning of Cryogenic storage tanks at customer locations, distribution of products & services to customers. Production: Ensure Safe production practices. Ensuring standards are set and adhered to. Ensure smooth uninterrupted manufacturing and filling activities. Conducting production meetings, safety meetings, and daily meetings to improve the production and safety performance and culture. Training the operators with the safe plant operating procedures. Ensuring Safe operations for the Plants DA plant, ASU plant (150 M3/hr), Specialty Gases, Co2 Filling plant, Arg, N2 Filling stations 300 bar Fire suppressant filling cylinders, Cylinder Hydro Test Shop, Testing and repair station of Cryogenic vessels, Cryogenic vessel filling practices, etc.. Production planning and control of refrigerant filling, fire suppressant filling &industrial gas filling and helium trans fill plant, helium gas supply from ISO container through pipeline to customer, cylinder test shop. Issuing of work permits for maintenance activities, lifting, working at height activities. Special gases safe handling and filling procedures to be ensured. To train the responsible team on the same. All this for the likes of toxic, flammable gases. Train subordinates in operations distribution, quality, and safety. Ensure zero NC in safety, quality, and ISO audits (internal & External audits). Improving quality standards of products and services. Ensuring all products that leave the premises have gone through testing and we are 100% ready to vouch for the quality of the material. Efficient and strict norms for lab operations. Ensuring discipline all through the line. Maintenance of all the plant machinery as per preventive maintenance schedule. Ensure zero downtime, zero accidents and incidents. Ensure all assets are functioning efficiently. Statutory Handling of statutory licenses like factory licenses, pollution control board license, explosive license (PESO), fire license, and drug license. Handling of Explosives license (PESO), drug license and ensuring Timely upgradation required in fulfilling the Safety guidelines Set by PESO (SMPV & GCR). Responsible for Statutory License handling - like Factory License, PESO, PCB, Fire NOC etc (New applications or Renewal) by meeting the Legal & Statutory requirements by coordinating with the HR department. Vendor Management: Developing new Vendors by cost, Quality & Capacity analysis. Procurement of raw materials like calcium carbide, specialty gases raw materials & trading products & cryogenic liquids for plant production activities & its safe storage. Procurement of maintenance spares for plant operations and customer installation maintenance New Vendor development & reduction of store inventory costs. Responsible for developing new Vendors by cost, Quality, and capacity analysis. Overall: Overall accountable for profit & Loss of the Factory. Responsible for running the Plant in most profitable manner with minimum resources. Advising the Management on all Technical-related aspects regarding new projects. Budgeting & ensuring to achieve for all capital and revenue expenditures for Plant Operations and new Projects. Smooth running of all plant operations and all bottlenecks related to plant operations. Handling of all worker related issues. Handling of all project related to plant development and at customer premises Preparation and implementation of SOP's of all plant operations. Attending Customer complaints, doing an inhouse analysis and rectifying the process for avoidance of the mistake. Crucial coordinator between distribution and sales. Accountable for meeting Sales demand by ensuring productivity targets & distribution happen as per plan in Daily, weekly, Monthly, and yearly volume and reporting the same to Regional Head. Plant Commissioning & decommissioning, if and when there is a requirement. Understanding of the various gas Standards and ensuring the company systems are geared to match the same. Coordinating with top management for production performance improvement and plant safety improvement. Meeting operations, quality standards, Statutory Compliance, ensuring zero downtime, zero accidents and incidents. Maximized Vehicle capacity Utilization by port load control. .
