About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery 2. Negotiate terms and prices with vendors to achieve best value for the company 3. Conduct thorough research to identify high-quality products at optimal prices aligned with company requirements 4. Stay updated on market trends, product availability, and emerging suppliers 5. Develop and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality 6. Track inventory levels to ensure timely restocking and avoid shortages 7. Visit local vendors and suppliers to assess product quality and negotiate deals in person 8. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods as per operational needs 9. Monitor stock levels, update records, and coordinate with internal teams for accurate inventory planning 10. Ensure proper documentation and reporting of procurement activities 11. Communicate procurement requirements and expectations effectively to vendors 12. Coordinate with internal departments to understand and fulfil procurement needs 13. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor negotiations and relationship management 14. Utilize excellent research and analytical skills to identify cost-saving opportunities 15. Leverage knowledge of inventory tracking systems for efficient inventory management 16. Prepare and analyze procurement reports to support decision-making 17. Possess a valid two-wheeler driving license and be comfortable with fieldwork 18. Show willingness to visit suppliers and vendors as required 19. Apply prior experience in procurement, vendor management, or a related role if available 20. Display proactive behavior, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently 21.
