Operations Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Coordinator to oversee day-to-day coordination across stores, inventory, and production support. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, numerate, and comfortable leading small teams and managing operational tasks in a hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Materials Coordination

• Oversee incoming and outgoing stock records.
• Support stock updates and periodic inventory checks.
• Coordinate material availability for ongoing production needs.

Production Planning Support

• Help align daily material requirements with production schedules.
• Ensure smooth handover between stores and the shop floor.
• Flag any supply shortages and proactively support production flow.

Team Supervision

• Guide and support a small team in routine operational activities.
• Foster collaboration across stores, production, and admin staff.
• Ensure adherence to basic workplace safety and quality standards.

Administration & Communication

• Maintain clear and organized documentation of all stock and production activities.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors for timely procurement and deliveries.
• Communicate effectively across departments to keep operations running smoothly.

Desired Profile

• 3–5 years of experience in operations, inventory coordination, administration, or team handling (manufacturing experience is a plus but not mandatory).
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Good with numbers and basic data handling (Excel/spreadsheet familiarity preferred).
• Confident communicator and team player.
• Interest in growing into broader operational leadership.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
