Investment Operations Professional
This position plays a critical role in ensuring operational accuracy, resolving escalations, and maintaining a high standard of client satisfaction through effective communication and domain expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide
high-quality operational support
to clients by managing complex client-facing transactions and ensuring timely resolution of issues. - Independently assist clients via
phone, email, and other channels
, addressing queries related to company products, services, and procedures. - Research and resolve
complex operational or client issues
, including those escalated by upstream/downstream teams, peers, or junior members. - Route issues that cannot be resolved at the point of contact to the appropriate team in accordance with
documented procedures
, while maintaining ownership until closure. - Act as a
Subject Matter Expert (SME)
demonstrate end-to-end understanding of multiple processes within the team, guiding and mentoring members as required. - Drive
process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives
to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy. - Ensure
high-quality delivery and SLA compliance
for self and team; proactively identify risks and gaps in processes and support mitigation actions. - Support management with reporting, trend analysis, and operational insights to strengthen governance and client satisfaction.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Experience:
Minimum 8+ years
of total experience in Capital Markets / Investment Banking Operations
, with exposure to one or more of the following areas: - Trade Settlements (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives)
- Reconciliations (Cash, Position, or Trade)
- Corporate Actions / Asset Servicing
- Fund Accounting / NAV validation
- Client Reporting or Reference Data Operations
- Hands-on experience handling
client queries, escalations, and cross-functional coordination
. - Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with proven ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Knowledge of
industry systems/tools
(e.g., TLM, Calypso, Murex, Aladdin, SWIFT, Bloomberg) and proficiency in MS Excel / Access / SQL
is preferred.
