Operation Theatre Coordinator

As an Operation Theatre (OT) Coordinator at KIDS Hospital in Bhubaneswar, your role will involve supporting and streamlining surgical scheduling, patient preparation, and interdepartmental coordination. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain the OT schedule, coordinating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other relevant staff. - Communicate effectively with all stakeholders regarding schedule changes and updates. - Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to prevent shortages. - Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs for OT equipment. - Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures. - Manage hazardous waste and ensure proper disposal. - Supervise and support OT staff, ensuring they are aware of their roles and responsibilities. - Provide training and guidance to staff on procedures, equipment, and safety protocols. - Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding surgical procedures. - Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to improve patient care and outcomes. Qualifications Required: - B.Sc Nursing / GNM / Pharmacist In this role, you will be working full-time at KIDS Hospital, Dumduma, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of experience in OT operations or coordination. The job type is full-time and the work location is in person.
