As an Operations Manager (Technical), you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing day-to-day technical operations. Your role will require a blend of strategic planning and hands-on execution to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality service delivery. You will collaborate with various teams to align operational strategies with technical objectives and drive continuous improvement. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading and managing the daily operations of the technical team, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to SLAs. - Collaborating with engineering, product, and support teams to align operational strategies with technical goals. - Monitoring key performance metrics and operational reports to drive efficiency and continuous improvement. - Identifying bottlenecks, proposing process improvements, and implementing best practices. - Managing cross-functional projects from planning to evaluation. - Maintaining infrastructure uptime and supporting incident response and resolution processes. - Overseeing vendor relationships, resource planning, budgeting, and technical procurement. - Ensuring compliance with quality, security, and regulatory standards. - Mentoring and managing junior operations or technical staff to foster accountability and growth. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in the IT sector. - Proven track record of managing cross-functional technical teams. - Strong understanding of IT systems, cloud infrastructure, or software development lifecycle. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Good communication and leadership abilities. Additionally, the following qualifications would be advantageous: - Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies. - Experience in a startup or scaling business environment. - Familiarity with cybersecurity, compliance standards (ISO, SOC, etc.), or automation tools. - Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, project management platforms, and monitoring systems.
