Graphic Designer

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field. 2–4 years of professional design experience , preferably in a media, news, or digital publishing environment. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite , including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and related tools. Strong portfolio showcasing creative work across digital platforms, including web, mobile, and social media. Excellent visual storytelling skills , with the ability to translate complex information into clear and engaging visuals. Solid understanding of design fundamentals , including typography, color theory, layout, and composition. Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines independently. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing workflows. Basic knowledge of image optimization , file formats, and responsive design principles. Desired Skills Experience with motion graphics and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro). Working knowledge of UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. Understanding of social media trends and best practices for platform-specific visuals (Instagram, YouTube, X, Facebook, etc.). Familiarity with SEO principles and how visuals impact discoverability. Experience creating branded content , marketing graphics, or promotional campaigns. Ability to work collaboratively with editorial, marketing, and video production teams. Adaptability in fast-paced environments , especially for breaking news or live event coverage. Interest in current affairs, journalism, or storytelling through visuals is a strong plus.
