Job Description

Dear Candidate,

Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Cash Applications

Apply daily customer payments (checks, wires, ACH, credit cards) to appropriate invoices in the ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Reconcile unapplied/unidentified payments and resolve discrepancies with internal teams or customers.
Monitor lockbox and bank remittances; ensure accurate and timely processing.
Investigate short payments, deductions, and overpayments.

OTC Billings

Generate and issue accurate customer invoices based on sales orders, contracts, or delivery confirmations.
Ensure billing is aligned with customer agreements and internal policies.
Maintain billing schedules and recurring invoices.
Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve order/invoicing issues.

Collections

Proactively contact customers via email/phone regarding overdue invoices.
Track and follow up on outstanding accounts to reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
Escalate aging accounts appropriately and assist with credit holds or dispute resolution.
Maintain detailed records of customer communications and payment promises.
