Required candidate profile: B.P.Ed in Physical education Expertise in multiple sports Key Responsibilities of the PE Assistant: 1. Instructional Support Assist in the delivery of PE lessons across Middle School and High School (15– 18 sessions per week). Support teachers in managing student engagement and class organization. Step in to lead classes in the absence of PE teachers, ensuring continuity of learning. 2.Coaching and Extra-Curricular Involvement Support after-school sports coaching sessions and Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs). Contribute to the development of student-athletes through skill-building and team management. 3. Event & Tournament Support Provide cover for PE classes during tournaments or competitions when teaching staff are otherwise occupied. Assist with logistical and on-ground support during internal and external sports events. 4. IGCSE PE Program Support Assist with IGCSE PE training sessions, supporting students with skill development and performance analysis. Help in the preparation and administration of IGCSE PE practical exams and coursework components. 5. Equipment and Safety Oversight Manage the PE equipment store: ensure all equipment is maintained, organized, and safe for use. Conduct regular safety checks and maintain an inventory of PE supplies.
