Handle complex issues and disputes that may arise between patients, families, or hospital staff. Ensure effective and compassionate resolution of conflicts.
Maintain open and effective communication with patients, their families and hospital staff. Implement communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed about changes in policies, procedures and services.
Lead initiatives to improve overall patient and guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, ensuring timely responses to requests and implementing strategies to enhance the guest experience.
Oversee the management and documentation of patient and family complaints. Investigate and resolve issues while adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Collect, analyze and interpret data related to patient and guest satisfaction. Utilize data to make informed decisions about improving services and addressing recurring issues.
Ensure the effectiveness of visitor services and amenities within the hospital, including waiting areas, visitor guidelines and services for families and friends of patients.
Ensure all guest relations activities and procedures comply with hospital policies, industry regulations and relevant legal requirements.
Collaborate with various hospital departments, including nursing, patient services, administration and others, to enhance the overall patient and guest experience and address issues efficiently.
Develop and implement crisis management and emergency response plans to address the needs of patients and their families during emergencies or crisis.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of guest relations activities, including patient feedback, incident reports and performance evaluations.
