Job Title: AGM/ Sr. Manager Project Management

Department: Business Development

Location: Rajkot

Reporting To: General Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager / Assistant General Manager Project Management to lead and oversee projects from initiation to completion. The role involves strategic planning, execution, stakeholder management, and ensuring adherence to quality, delivery, cost, safety, and timeline targets. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and in-depth knowledge of project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and mitigate project risks related to cost, delivery, safety, schedule, and quality.

• Prepare and present periodic progress reports to management and clients.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery.

• Lead execution of projects from contract review to final delivery.

• Prepare and track project execution schedules, budgets, and milestones.

• Ensure customer requirements, technical specifications, and contractual commitments are fully met.

• Act as the single point of contact for the customer.

• Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery commitments.

• Maintain strong communication and relationships with customers throughout project execution.

• Manage scope changes, deviations, and clarifications with clients.

• Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive updates, timely responses, and smooth project delivery.

• Identify potential delays or bottlenecks and take corrective actions.

• Monitor project costs, margins, and cash flow.

• Review progress, highlight critical issues, and present project status reports to management.

• Foster a culture of on-time delivery, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Educational Background:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering / Industrial Engineering or related engineering discipline.

Required Experience:

• More than 12 years of experience in project management/execution in the engineering manufacturing industry.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong expertise in engineered-to-order project execution (packages, skids, systems, oilfield equipment, compressors, pumps, valves, etc.).

• Excellent knowledge of customer order handling and customer communication.

• Strong leadership, presentation, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

• Customer-focused mindset with ability to handle pressure and multiple projects simultaneously.

• Flexible with working hours.

• Knowledge of machining processes or automotive manufacturing is an advantage.
