As an Engineer - Marine Propulsion based in Navi Mumbai, your primary responsibility will be to lead site projects with a focus on technical aspects of site planning and execution. Before being deployed to the site, you will collaborate with the Site Manager as a Team Leader to pre-plan activities including tool kit preparation, part list creation, and finalizing the project schedule. It is essential to be actively involved in site briefings and debriefings to ensure standardization and continual improvement in project execution. You will be expected to lead site jobs independently, organize tools, consumables, and parts required for the day's work, and proactively expedite planned activities to accommodate any unforeseen challenges that may arise during project execution. Your role will also encompass ensuring Quality Management System (QMS) and technical compliance, as well as being accountable for tool management to maintain clean, functional, and calibrated tools at all times. To achieve service excellence, you will need to standardize processes using smart techniques, anticipate scope of work, create parts lists based on asset details, and implement mandatory replacements as per OEM recommendations. Continuous development is key, involving the generation of quality reports, checklist development, identifying training needs, and reducing site execution days by 30% through innovative methods. Your functional and non-technical skills will play a crucial role in this role, requiring attention to detail for information gathering and documentation, as well as effective communication in verbal and written English to interact with customers and prepare daily work reports effectively.
