Omniverse & USD Developer

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Omniverse & USD Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with NVIDIA Omniverse and a deep understanding of the USD (Universal Scene Description) framework. Key Responsibilities: 1. USD & 3D Pipeline Integration Develop, manipulate, and optimize USD scenes for complex 3D environments. Customize USD schemas and layers to support specific workflows (e.g., animation, lighting, physics). Integrate USD with various DCC tools like Maya, Blender, Houdini, or Unreal Engine. 2. Omniverse Development Develop Omniverse Extensions using Python or C++ (Kit SDK, Isaac Sim, etc.). Create and manage Omniverse Connectors for interoperability between applications (CAD, BIM, DCC, etc.). Configure and deploy Omniverse Nucleus servers for team collaboration and asset management. 3. Simulation & Collaboration Workflows Implement real-time collaboration pipelines using Omniverse. Work with robotics simulation tools (e.g., Isaac Sim) or physics simulations via PhysX. Collaborate with artists, designers, and engineers to streamline workflows. 4. Performance Optimization Profile and optimize large USD scenes for performance and memory usage. Leverage Level of Detail (LoD), instancing, and efficient asset referencing. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong hands-on experience with USD (Pixar s Universal Scene Description). Experience working with NVIDIA Omniverse, including Kit SDK, Code, Create, or Isaac Sim. Proficient in Python; C++ knowledge is a plus. Familiarity with 3D content creation tools (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Houdini). Understanding of real-time 3D graphics, physics simulations, or digital twins. Experience in collaborative 3D environments or virtual production workflows.
