Job Description

As an OSS Support Engineer specializing in VMware Workspace ONE, you will be an integral part of the global mobility and EUC operations team. Your primary responsibilities will include managing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Workspace ONE-powered device management solutions for enterprise customers in India and international regions. Key Responsibilities: - Workspace ONE Administration: - Deploy, configure, and manage Workspace ONE UEM for Android, iOS/iPadOS, Windows, and macOS. - Manage profiles, compliance policies, configurations, apps, VPP, DEP/ABM, Knox, OEMConfig, and sensors. - Perform certificate authority, SCEP, PKI, Active Directory integrations. - Optional: Manage Workspace ONE Access; added advantage: Support Horizon and UAG environments. - OSS Support & EUC Operations: - Provide Level 2/L3 technical support for OSS (Omnissa Sovereign Solutions). - Handle incident management, ticket triaging, RCA, and escalations. - Monitor system health, server performance, device compliance, and policy enforcement. - Manage patching cycles, lifecycle management, and upgrades. - Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: - Diagnose and resolve issues related to enrollment failures, application deployment, compliance failures, certificate/identity issues, VPN/UAG/conditional access, Windows patching/UEM agent issues. - Ensure rapid turnaround and SLA adherence. - Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration: - Work directly with enterprise customers, licensees, and internal teams. - Participate in customer calls, tech reviews, and troubleshooting sessions. - Document solutions, build knowledge-base articles, and improve internal SOPs. - Reporting & Compliance: - Generate system reports, dashboards, and audit logs. - Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards. - Maintain proper documentation for builds, configs, and processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 3-7 years of experience in EUC/MDM/UEM domain. - Minimum 2 years deep hands-on experience in VMware Workspace ONE UEM. - Strong understanding of MDM protocols, AD/LDAP, Identity, SSO, APIs, sensors, UEM scripting, compliance frameworks, and security posture. - Experience with Windows & macOS management, patching, and device lifecycle management. - Ability to handle L2/L3 support tickets independently. - Strong documentation and communication skills. Preferred Skills: - Workspace ONE certification (VCTA, VCP-DTM preferred). - Experience with Horizon, UAG, vSphere. - Experience working with global enterprises/managed service environments. - Familiarity with other UEM platforms (Intune, MobileIron, Knox Manage, MaaS360) is a plus.
