Officer, Securities & Derivatives Analyst

As an Officer, Securities & Derivatives Analyst at Citi, you will be responsible for the following key activities in a fast-paced environment: - End to end trade processing and settlement across Equities, Fixed Income, FX, and complex OTC products - Strong capital market knowledge and hands-on experience with the Aladdin platform - Deep understanding of trade life cycle processes and post-trade operations - Performing trade verifications to ensure accuracy of booking requests - Generating and matching trade confirmations according to the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) templates - Completing settlement tasks and daily rate revaluations accurately and on time - Coordinating transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborating on a solution - Handling clients" counterparties inquiries via telephone and other sources timely and appropriately within defined standards and delivering high-quality service to internal and external customers - Ability to follow established procedures to ensure breaks are not caused/minimized, is tracked, and metrics updates are accurate - Performing regulatory controls, account reconciliations, and record retention activities in accordance with established policies In the C10 role, additional responsibilities include: - Ability to work effectively in a high volume/high-risk environment - Processing securities transactions, providing analytic input for traders, and aiding in the review of derivative products - Identifying and resolving securities and derivative settlement issues and making process improvement recommendations to leadership - Analyzing moderately complex reports to satisfy management requirements, aid in control activities, and contribute to the launch of product services - Monitoring and suggesting solutions to errors to minimize risk to the bank through an intermediate knowledge of procedural requirements - Escalating transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborating on a solution - Designing and analyzing moderately complex reports in coordination with standards set by direct leadership - Assisting with control activities and the launch of new products and services - Ensuring processes adhere to audit and control policies Qualifications for the role include: - Relevant 3-7 years of experience preferred - Fundamental understanding of Treasury products, accounting, and regulatory policies - Proven ability to perform various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment - Consistently demonstrating clear and concise written and verbal communication skills At Citi, you will have the opportunity to grow your career, give back to your community, and make a real impact.
