Job description for Office Assistant
The Office Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the office staff. They perform a variety of tasks related to office operations, such as managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the office staff, including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining files.
2. Reception: Greet and assist visitors, answer phone calls, and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
3. Office Supplies: Maintain office supplies by checking inventory, placing orders, and restocking supplies as necessary.
4. Travel Arrangements: Make travel arrangements for office personnel, including booking flights, hotels, and rental cars.
5. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including employee attendance and office expenses.
6. Filing: Organize and maintain office files, both electronic and physical.
7. Event Planning: Assist in planning and organizing office events, such as staff meetings, conferences, and social events.
8. Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the office manager or supervisor.
Requirements:
1. ANY DEGREE,
2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office or administrative role.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
5. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
6. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
