Office Administrative Assistant

You will be working as an Administrative Assistant at 8th Day Cafe & Bakery with the following responsibilities: - Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and job specifications - Manage the full recruitment cycle: job postings, screenings, interviewing and onboarding - Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires including orientation and documentation - Maintain employee records and update employee databases - Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including PF and ESIC staff enrolments - Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and organizational goals - Communicate policies effectively to all employees and ensure consistent application across the organization - Design and implement the performance management system, ensuring it aligns with company goals and legal compliance - Serve as a point of contact for employee queries related to policies - Conduct investigation into employee complaints and recommend appropriate actions Qualifications and Skills required for this role include: - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity - Basic knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance - Availability to work on weekends and six days a week - Need to focus on all outlets across Kolkata Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with a probation period of 3 months. The work location will be at all Kolkata outlets with a rotational shift schedule.,
