Job Title: Senior .NET Desktop Application Developer (WinForms/WCF) Location: Trivandrum, Kochi Experience Required: 8+ years in .NET development, with strong experience in WinForms and WCF Job Description: We are looking for a Senior .NET Desktop Application Developer with deep expertise in developing Windows-based applications using WinForms and WCF web services , backed by a solid understanding of MS SQL Server . The candidate should be comfortable working in a mature, stable technology stack and must possess strong debugging, communication, and leadership skills. This role involves close coordination with business analysts, engineers, and QA teams to develop, test, and deploy critical applications. The contractor will also help lead deployments and participate in troubleshooting activities. Mandatory Skills: .NET Framework with strong WinForms experience WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) C# and solid understanding of OOP principles LINQ MS SQL Server (complex queries, stored procedures) Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills Project leadership or management experience XML processing Familiarity with automated build/deployment pipelines (Azure DevOps, Octopus) Experience accessing external APIs for data integration Security & authentication protocols (including cloud/proxy access) Availability during US EST hours and for daily team calls Good-to-Have Skills: Working knowledge of Excel objects Experience with third-party tools: Infragistics , SpreadsheetGear , VariaDoc Experience with PDF form processing Exposure to ASP.NET web development Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies Experience in Citrix environments Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and debug desktop applications using .NET/WinForms/WCF Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and QA for project delivery Document technical work and contribute to test planning Manage and participate in software deployments (production and non-production) Support development of software prototypes Troubleshoot client data issues as necessary Required Skills .Net,Sql Server,Wcf Services,Winforms
