Ocean Freight Expert

As an Ocean Freight Expert at our company, located in Mohali, Punjab, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end transportation of goods via air and sea freight. Your duties will include space booking, documentation, and shipping instructions to ensure smooth operations. Building and maintaining strong relationships with shipping lines, port operators, airlines, and other logistics stakeholders will be crucial. You will be required to ensure timely customs clearance and handle all paperwork to comply with international trade regulations. Collaborating with clients to understand their shipping requirements and providing them with cost-effective and reliable solutions will be a key part of your role. Keeping track of shipments and updating clients on the status, delays, and any changes to their shipments will be essential. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Ocean Transportation Intermediary (OTI) roles or similar freight forwarding positions. Comprehensive knowledge of shipping contracts, rates, port operations, and customs procedures is a must. Familiarity with international trade regulations and shipping documentation will also be required. It is important to stay current with industry regulations and trends in international trade, shipping contracts, and rates to ensure efficient and effective operations.
