Occupational Therapist

Job Description As an Occupational Therapist at The Galaxy Education System (TGES), you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapy sessions for individuals or groups, with a focus on rehabilitation and therapeutic interventions. Your role will involve working with pediatric clients, tailoring therapy to individual needs, documenting progress, collaborating with other professionals, and supporting students to enhance their physical, emotional, and social well-being within the educational setting. Key Responsibilities - Assess, plan, and implement therapy sessions for individuals or groups - Focus on rehabilitation and therapeutic interventions - Work with pediatric clients and tailor therapy to individual needs - Document progress and collaborate with other professionals - Support students to improve their physical, emotional, and social well-being Qualifications - Expertise in Occupational Therapy, including planning and implementing effective therapeutic interventions - Knowledge of Rehabilitation and basic understanding of Medicine to address a variety of developmental and physical needs - Strong Communication skills to collaborate with students, parents, and interdisciplinary teams - Experience working with Pediatrics, including adapting therapy to suit the developmental needs of children - Relevant certifications, licensure, or a degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field - Ability to work compassionately and empathetically with individuals of varying abilities - Prior experience in an educational or rehabilitation setting is a plus,
