Position: Speech Therapist Role Overview We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Speech Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Dumpty Humpty Pre School, Kandivali West. The ideal candidate will work with children aged 2–8 to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, helping each child reach their fullest communication potential in an engaging, supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing disorders in preschool-aged children. Design and implement individualized therapy plans using both proven and innovative intervention techniques. Provide therapy sessions (one-on-one or in groups) tailored to each child’s needs and developmental level. Monitor and document each child’s progress, updating therapy goals as needed. Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, special educators, and other therapists to set and achieve holistic developmental goals. Conduct parent education and training so they can reinforce therapy techniques at home and in daily routines. Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) when needed. Maintain detailed and confidential records of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress reports. Stay up-to-date with latest speech therapy methods, attending relevant workshops and training as required. Desired Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology, with a valid RCI license/certification. Prior experience working with preschool or early childhood populations (preferred, not mandatory). Strong understanding of childhood speech and language developmental milestones. Empathetic, patient, and creative approach working with small children. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
