Description
As an Occupational Therapist at Rights Thanal Perumapadappu, your role will involve assessing the functional abilities and needs of clients through standardized tests, clinical observations, and interviews. You will be responsible for developing individualized treatment plans, setting realistic, measurable goals, and providing therapy to improve motor skills, coordination, cognitive functioning, and daily living skills. Additionally, you will recommend and train clients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology. Key Responsibilities: - Assess the functional abilities and needs of clients through standardized tests, clinical observations, and interviews. - Develop individualized treatment plans and set realistic, measurable goals. - Provide therapy to improve motor skills, coordination, cognitive functioning, and daily living skills. - Recommend and train clients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to ensure holistic care. - Document assessments, interventions, progress, and outcomes in line with organizational standards. - Guide caregivers and family members on strategies to support clients" progress at home and in the community. - Conduct group therapy sessions or community-based rehabilitation activities when required. - Stay updated with best practices, new techniques, and evidence-based interventions in occupational therapy.
