Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Department Management:

  • Lead and manage the NVH team to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects.
  • Oversee daily operations, team planning, resource allocation, and issue resolution.
  • Mentor, guide, and upskill the NVH team to align with business and technical goals.

Client Engagement:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients on all NVH-related projects.
  • Understand and interpret client RFQs for NVH services and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare and present detailed

    techno-commercial proposals

    in response to client inquiries.
  • Conduct regular project review meetings and technical discussions with clients.

Project Execution:

  • Plan and oversee the execution of NVH analysis projects including experimental testing, simulation, data interpretation, and report preparation.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables and compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
  • Lead root cause analysis and provide mitigation strategies for NVH issues.

Cross-functional Coordination:

  • Collaborate with other subsidiaries, internal departments, and cross-functional teams (design, CAE, testing, etc.) to support integrated engineering solutions.
  • Ensure seamless information flow and alignment of NVH tasks within multi-disciplinary projects.

Strategic and Management Involvement:

  • Participate in internal management review meetings to report progress, KPIs, risks, and resource requirements.
  • Support strategic planning, business development, and capability expansion of the NVH vertical.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 10 years experience in NVH testing, Bachelors or Master’s Engineering degree
  • Experience in Vehicle, powertrain NVH development and/or testing.
  • Ability to perform issue identification and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to process vehicle and/or rig NVH data.
  • Electric Drive Unit and high voltage powertrain components experience and knowledge.
  • LMS TestLab, INCA, and Vector tools experience.
  • Experienced in developing NVH process and methods
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to summarise and make clear technical recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively, both written and verbal, with company, customer and supplier team members
  • Flexible and adaptable and willing to work in different engineering projects
