Nutritionist-CRC 1 Project

As a Nutritionist at St. Johns Research Institute in Bengaluru and Shivamogga district, you will play a crucial role in the studies of the Division aimed at enhancing the nutritional status of children through the development and evaluation of improved take-home foods coupled with behavior change interventions. Your primary responsibility will involve overseeing all activities related to the research project at SJRI and the field site in Shivamogga. Key duties include conducting and supporting data collection activities, participant interviews, surveys, and nutritional assessments. You will be required to ensure accurate and timely data entry, maintain data integrity and confidentiality, monitor data quality, and identify discrepancies. Additionally, you will provide technical assistance in setting up and calibrating research instruments, adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), conduct field visits to monitor research activities, and contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and manuscripts for internal and external stakeholders. Your role will also involve assisting in other studies and activities of the Division of Nutrition. The ideal candidate for this position should possess an M.Sc. in Food Science and Nutrition or Food Science and Technology. Proficiency in English, Kannada, and Hindi is required.
