Nutritionist-CRC 1 Project

As a Nutritionist at St. Johns Research Institute, Bengaluru and Shivamogga district, your role will involve contributing to the studies of the Division, focusing on the development and evaluation of improved take-home foods in combination with behavior change interventions to enhance nutritional status in children. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct and support all data collection activities, including fieldwork, participant interviews, surveys, and nutritional assessments. - Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the project database, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality. - Assist in monitoring the quality of data, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring consistency. - Provide technical support in setting up and calibrating research instruments and tools. - Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all project activities. - Conduct regular field visits to monitor research activities and ensure compliance with protocols. - Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and manuscripts for internal and external stakeholders. - Assist in other studies and activities within the Division of Nutrition. **Qualifications Required:** - M.Sc. in Food Science and Nutrition or M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology If you are a motivated individual with a background in nutrition and a passion for research, consider applying for this position by sending your cover letter and curriculum vitae to deepap@sjri.res.in and cc to hr@sjri.res.in before the 5th of May, 2025.
