Nursing Supervisor

The healthcare brand Medicover, with a global presence in 12 countries including India, operates 26 hospitals, 125 medical centers, and 16 fertility centers. In Karimnagar, the facility offers exceptional medical services within a collaborative work environment. As the Infection Control Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to oversee staffing, departmental activities, and patient care services, ensuring compliance with policies and CNE's. You will be based in Karimnagar, Telangana, on a full-time basis. Your key responsibilities will include identifying, investigating, and monitoring hazardous practices that may endanger the health of patients, staff, or the public. It will be essential to educate all employees on infection control practices and procedures, including steps to follow in case of needle stick injuries. You will also supervise the maintenance of protocols such as isolation procedures and hand hygiene techniques, ensuring adequate supplies and cleanliness standards are met. Continuous learning and development are crucial in this role, as you will be expected to update your knowledge and skills to address current and future challenges. Additionally, you will play a vital role in developing educational programs for staff, identifying training needs, and evaluating training effectiveness. Moreover, you will be responsible for analyzing incident reports, conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and reporting to the Head of the Department. Regular rounds in the hospital to assess nursing services, meeting patients and relatives for feedback, and maintaining necessary reports like Quality Improvement (QI) and Nurse-Patient (NP) Ratio data will also be part of your duties.
