Job Description

This is a one-year Contract. Salary - 1000 USD/month +++ (INR 86,800/- as on 19th March 2025) B.SC nursing with minimum 3 plus years of ICU experience required. Working hours - 204 hours per month ( 8 Hours / Day) Free fly 1-way ticket from New Delhi to the point of entry in Benghazi, Libya Return ticket to New Delhi upon completion of the one-year contract Visa fees and work permits will be provided by the company (Cost will be borne by the company) Free accommodation (2 bedrooms with social unit, kitchen on each floor) Free meal allowance while in working place / Free private medical insurance/ Free uniform and laundry service (working clothes)/ 4 weeks of annual leave per year . JOB DESCRIPTION Perform head to toe assessment of the assigned patient. - Check and secure IV Lines, Central Venous Catheters, Arterial Lines, Foley Catheter, and Drains. Check monitors, ventilator settings and alarm settings. -Check and label IV fluid sets, emergency as well as other medications. Prepare, attend and participate in ICU consultants rounds and rounds of primary unit. Follow management plan as formulated in the ICU rounds - Provide nursing care to the patient as follows. Provide all the bedside nursing care (oral care, eye care, skin care, perineal care) and maintain hygiene of the patient as well as patients environment. Record at least hourly vital signs and neurological status and fluid balance status. Record ventilator parameters. Ensure that patients receive proper medication, the correct dose according to the standards. If any confusion about dose, frequency, please clarify with on duty doctor. Ensure patient is receiving feed as instructed (Enteral/Parenteral). Identify patients who are at risk of complications due to nutritional status. Monitor and maintain the blood glucose level as per protocol. Apply the pressure sore prevention strategies like use of air mattress, changing position at least every two hourly or as per need. Monitor patients fluid intake and output to detect emerging problems such as fluid and electrolyte imbalances. Assess the muscle power, monitor physical activity and implement early mobilization protocol. Assess the patients' pain levels and sedation requirements.Ensure that patient receives adequate sedation / analgesia as instructed. Skill and Education Bachelor's degree in Nursing/Proficiency Certificate Level in Nursing. Registered Nurse (RN) license from Nursing Council. CPR course certification. Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology. Excellent communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Bio-medical equipment handling and care.
