Nursery Manager

We are looking for ONLY a male candidate to work in our Oil Palm Nursery in Chhattisgarh location for immediately available to join.

• Oversee nursery operations, quality control, resource & labor management.
• Ensure horticulture expertise, resource planning, pest control.
• Prepare seeds, select seedlings for field planting.
• Maintain proper irrigation systems and water management
• Plan, supervise, and coordinate all activities in the oil palm nursery including seed selection, germination, transplanting, watering, fertilization, and hardening-off
• Ensure proper nursery layout, bed preparation, and infrastructure (e.g., shading, irrigation)
• Monitor the growth stages of seedlings and ensure uniform and healthy development.
• Implement nursery schedules in line with planting targets
• Monitor and manage pest, disease, and weed control using integrated pest management (IPM) principles
• Ensure proper use of fertilizers and agrochemicals in accordance with agronomic recommendations
• Supervise and train nursery workers on standard nursery operations and safety practices.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor labor productivity and efficiency.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of seedling production, mortality rates, fertilizer and chemical applications, and labor activities.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on nursery performance to senior management.
• Monitor input usage and stock levels (fertilizer, polybags, seeds, etc.)
• Ensure proper maintenance of nursery tools, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Plan for and procure necessary nursery inputs in a timely manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
