Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and certified 1st Class Boiler Operator to operate, maintain, and monitor high-pressure boilers and related equipment. The successful candidate will ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the boiler systems to meet facility demands. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor high-pressure boilers, pumps, compressors, and other auxiliary equipment. Conduct routine inspections of boilers, feedwater systems, valves, gauges, burners, and other systems to ensure safe operation. Maintain accurate records of meter readings, fuel consumption, water treatment, maintenance activities, and performance metrics. Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on boiler equipment and auxiliary systems. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and local regulatory standards, including maintaining proper pressure, temperature, and emissions levels. Respond to alarms and emergency situations, performing corrective actions and notifying appropriate personnel. Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for repairs and upgrades. Monitor water treatment systems and ensure proper chemical dosing to prevent scaling and corrosion. Keep up-to-date with equipment manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols. Participate in safety drills, training sessions, and audits as required. Qualifications and Requirements: 1st Class Boiler Operator Certificate . Minimum 5 – 8 years of experience operating DCS, high-pressure boilers and associated systems. ITI or equivalent qualification is required. Strong knowledge of boiler operation, water treatment, and combustion principles. Familiarity with mechanical systems, control systems, and industrial safety standards. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and P&IDs. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and on-call as required. Preferred Skills: Experience with DCS - based boiler systems. Certification in safety procedures such as confined space, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and first aid. Knowledge of energy efficiency practices and emissions control systems.
