NPD Manager

You will play a crucial role in leading the end-to-end new product development (NPD) process within the Automotive (Spring manufacturing) industry. From conceptualization to production, you will drive innovation by incorporating new technologies and materials. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with automotive industry standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, and PPAP. Managing project timelines, budgets, and resource planning for NPD initiatives will be key aspects of your role. Collaboration with cross-functional teams comprising design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain personnel is vital. Monitoring project progress, addressing risks, and ensuring timely product launches will be among your duties. You will closely engage with customers and suppliers to comprehend their requirements and expectations. Conducting market research, benchmarking industry trends, and maintaining best practices in NPD processes will be essential. Your technical expertise will be crucial during customer discussions and presentations. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. - 3-8+ years of experience in new product development, preferably in the automotive sector. - Proficiency in APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, GD&T, and CAD tools. - Strong project management and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
